Day 1:
Arrival at the airport in Novosibirsk, Transfer from the airport, Check-in to the hotel and Self-guided tour of Novosibirsk
Welcome to Novosibirsk which is perched on the banks of the Ob River and features fountains that seem to float on the river surface. We can learn about the city’s founding at the West Siberian Railway History Museum. Also renowned for its thriving arts scene, and the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre is fondly known as the “Siberian Coliseum.” Upon arrival transfer to your hotel by a private taxi after check-in explore the town covering all the main attractions of the city such as Novosibirsk Railway Station, the biggest station of the Trans-Siberian Railroad; Krasny Prospekt Avenue, the longest straight street in Eurasia (7km/ 4.4miles); Lenin Square, the city centre with the world’s second-biggest Opera House (after that of Buenos Aires); ancient wooden houses on Gorky Street, the oldest part of the city; St. Nicholas Chapel, marking the geographic centre of the former Russian Empire; embankment of the 7th longest river in the world (the Ob river); colourful Siberian farm-market.
Day 2:
Day trip to Tomsk
Today after breakfast we will go to a full-day tour to Tomsk which started in 1604 as a fortress, very typical for that period of Russian history. The fortress was constructed on a hill over the river Tom, where now the museum of the history of Tomsk is located. The city is well-known for its monuments of wooden and stone architecture dating from the 18th-20th centuries its architectural style combines both the Russian traditional form of town building as well as baroque, classic and modern architectural styles. The wooden house in Tomsk are quite tall, very spacious and painted in light colours. We will explore its world-famous architectural and historical monuments which attract numerous visitors from everywhere.
Day 3:
Transfer: Train from Novosibirsk to Irkutsk
Today we will go for a journey on one of the world most famous train route the trans-Siberian train we will embark Siberia very closely as we transfer to Irkutsk one of the major towns near Lake Baikal.
Day 4:
Arrival in Irkutsk, Check-in to the hotel and Sel-guided tour of Irkutsk
Upon arrival in Irkutsk, a historic centre nominated as a UNESCO cultural heritage item. We will check-in at the hotel and later we will explore the town on a self-guided tour. Start at the historical centre of Irkutsk on the Angara coast. Explore Kirov Square where the history of the city began in 1661. Explore the Savior Church, which is considered the oldest stone building in all of Eastern Siberia. We can visit the Epiphany Cathedral, a Roman Catholic church. Visit the Znamensky Monastery and the illustrious collection of icons at the Holy Cross Church. Walk along the main street of the city, Karl Marx Street, to the Angara River. Away from the embankment, visit an interesting historic district, the buildings of which appeared in the early 18th century. Due to a large number of wooden buildings, this area has formed a special historical zone of the city. Explore the heart of the blacksmith and pottery workshops and souvenir shops.
Day 5:
Transfer from Irkutsk to Olkhon & Check-in to the hotel
Today after breakfast we will transfer to Olkhon the third largest lake island in the world and largest in Lake Baikal. It is the most beautiful part of the Lake Baikal enjoy the beauty of the Lake Baikal in a panoramic view from the village. Upon arrival check-in, to the hotel and later explore the island enjoy the beautiful spots such as cliffs Three Brothers and Khoboi/ Tusk. From Khoboi cliff enjoy the 300-degree panoramic view of Lake Baikal.
Day 7:
Transfer to Listvyanka & Check-in to the hotel
Today after breakfast we will go to Listvyanka one of the most popular destinations in the Siberia. Upon arrival, immediately be in awe of the views from the mouth of the Angara river as you hike to the top of the hill to Chersky rock for an amazing panorama. With your local charismatic guide, we can visit the Krestovka wooden orthodox church, the junk museum with a collection of statues made of old car parts by local artists, the fish market and of course, spots where we can receive magnificent views of Lake Baikal.
Day 8:
Transfer to Irkutsk
Today we will again transfer to Irkutsk and check-in the hotel.
Day 9:
Airport transfer in Irkutsk
On the last day of our trip, we will transfer to the airport by a private taxi from our hotel.
