Arrival and Monserrate mountain

Ride the cable car to the top of Monserrate mountain and walk through the narrow streets where you can appreciate colonial houses and graffiti of all kinds. Arrive Medellin and city walk
You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Medellin. Bogota to Medellin is a 1-hour flight. Medellín is surrounded by 8 smaller towns which together form the ‘Area Metropolitana’.Medellín is situated in a narrow valley but packs the punch of a city twice its size, this city is always friendly to visitors. After reaching your hotel in Medellin you can go for a nice walk to visit the most important places in the centre of Medellín, like Alpujarra administrative centre, Cisneros plaza, Carabobo street, Botero square and Berrío park among others.

Gutape Rock and boat tour
Spend a day visiting the city of Guatapé, and see a world of colour amongst its streets adorned with tile facades. Visit the Rock of Guatapé (Piedra del Peñol), which was worshiped by the former indigenous inhabitants of the region and access its summit by climbing the steps built. Take a relaxing boat ride through the reservoir and enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch. See panoramic views of Casa Museo, La Cruz, Piedras del Marial and the ruins of the Pablo Escobar's vacation home. (Overnight in Medellin)
Pablo Escobar tour
Explore the past of the murderous drug lord, Pablo Escobar by visiting his grave and former residence and learn about the painful and bloody history behind the drug lord. Head to “la cathedral”, a jail Escobar built for himself in an agreement with the government, from which he later escaped. By the end of the day, you’ll have a better understanding of the negative impact that Escobar had on the country and the lives of the Colombian people. (Overnight in Medellin)
After breakfast if time permits venture out of the hotel and go for some shopping on your own. Make your way back to the hotel by afternoon and proceed to the airport for your flight back home.
