Today spend a beautiful day at the emerald waters of Königssee in the Berchtesgaden Alps of Bavaria (in Germany). Surrounded by often snow clad mountains, with marvelous views of Germany´s highest waterfall at Röthbachfall and the beautiful chapel of St. Bartholoma, dating from 1134, this place is totally unmissable. The boat ride on the lake is mesmerizing and the little musical performance by the guide on the boat is cherry on the cake.
